  1. Other User - not able to delete

Someone else used their microsoft logon on my laptop. Their name now constantly appear on my log on screen. I then went into explorer windows>users>and deleted their files and attempted to go into settings>users to delete but they are not listed there. How can I get their name off the list of users for my laptop when logging in??? I have tried deleting when logged in under both my different user accounts one personal and one school and they both have administrator privileges. Please help !!!

    :)

Step 2: Steps to Delete a User Account in Command Prompt

  3. Removing a "hidden" user and user files

Thanks for your patience. I was able with "Net User" to remove the left over user. It no longer appears when I invoke Net User.

Now for the user's folder which remains behind. After performing the series of steps that you suggested, I attempted to delete this folder. The result again was an error message about permission
