annoying desktop pop ups

Hi Sheena,

Pop ups can be distracting for some, and depending on your reference, you can disable the desktop pop ups by following these steps:

• Click Start or the Windows logo and go to Settings (gear icon).
• Go to System and choose Notification & actions.
• Under Notifications, turn off Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows or whatever you want to turn off.
• Close the window and it will automatically save the changes.

• Which web browser you are getting this Allow/Cancel pop up?
  
• Are you aware of any changes on the system, prior to this issue?
  
• Does this happen while accessing any specific website?

As you have mentioned that you have McAfee installed as a security software, in that case we will suggest you to do a full scan of the PC. It could possibly a spyware infection.
