Windows 10: "Outer Worlds" suddenly now freezing every 3min on Windows 10.

Ive been playing it since launch with no issues whatsoever. Now suddenly the game is freezing (not crashing) constantly. In the time since I have not made any notable changes on my PC, no updates or new programs installed, no new drivers, no Im not sure why this sudden shift.


Ive stopped and disabled common trouble apps like MSI afterburner, but it crashes even without them running. Any help with this would be appreciated. Ill post my system info below:

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
