Windows 10: Outgoing calls on Phone Link are garbled

Hi,I just linked my Motorola Power g to my laptop running Windows 11 and tried to make outgoing calls. I'm hooked up using Bluetooth and every outgoing call was extremely garbled and the audio sounds like The Chipmunks i.e. high speed like audio in a sped up video. My mouse is corded, not wireless, and I have a keychain drive in an USB port. Help! I would like to use this for multiple outgoing business calls but at this point I can't.

Lumia not supporting outgoing calls

Hi Premawansha,

Lumia phones are enabled to make or receive calls. In times when you can't make an outgoing call, this could be attributed to either an issue with the device, or with your network provider.

In this regard, can you provide us with the following information to better understand your issue?

• What Lumia model are you using?
• Do you encounter any error message when attempting to make an outgoing call?
• Have you any changes on your phone prior to this issue?
• Have you notified your network provider about this issue?
• Have you tried using your SIM on a different device to check if it can make a phone call?

 

Your Phone APP call sound garbled

While working on my surface Pro X I'm able to answer texts just fine. When calls come in I can answer from my laptop but the audio is garbled. It sounds like someone talking through a voice changer. The callers report that they can hear me just fine.

Is there a fix for the garbled call audio? Both my phone and laptop software are updated.

The phone is Samsung S7Edge if that matters.
