    When I bought my Dell Inspiron 5488 AIO, I purchased and installed Microsoft 365, which includes their version of Outlook. I can't figure out most of the 365 Outlook program. It's HORRIBLE! The most user-unfriendly program I have ever encountered, and I've been using Outlook for over 2 decades. I want to install Office Outlook 2007 but am afraid it will conflict or crash everything. Does anyone have any experience with this?Failing that, can anyone tell me, or direct me to a place that will, how to create separate mailing lists on the new Windows Outlook? They've changed all their terminology

    I am thinking of getting Microsoft 365 one user. I already have MS Office Home and Student 2007 and Outlook 2007 installed.
    Do I have to uninstall those before installing Microsoft 365 or can I just leave then installed?

    I suggest making a system image and a copy of your pst file then uninstalling all your Office 2007.

    If you have customised any Office 2007 templates, such as Word templates, then make backup copies of those as well.

    You can then install Office 365 and, in the unlikely event that it all goes wrong, restore your image to get back to where you started.

    MS used to allow one month trials of Office 365 before subscriptions started but I do not know if that is still possible.

    I used Office 2016 for a year then ditched it and reinstalled Office 2007. There have not been any substantial changes between Offfice 2016 & Office 365.
    - Many of what I regarded as Office 2016 shortcomings could be worked around but not all.
    - Outlook 2016 user interface was awful - the Navigation bar gets partially hidden when you view the Calendar & it cannot display a long date picker all the way down the right hand side like Outlook 2007 can.

    You do not have to, but it is rather pointless keeping both installed, and inevitably something will conflict.
    Besides, it is just a waste of space.
