Windows 10: Outlook 2007

Like a lot of other users, I've been having problems in sending emails BUT unlike most others, running SFC /scannow hasn't fixed my problem although it worked on my wife's Laptop.

So I uninstalled & reinstalled a different version which contain a dll that was rejected so I re-installed the original Outlook 2007.

I now have 2 entries for my account:





The first 1 will send / receive a test email. The 2nd will only send a test email & not receive it.

The first one now miraculously will now send email as well as receive them.

However, Outlook refuses me to delete the 2nd entry.

Any ideas on how to delete this as having something there which is wrong is kinda annoying.

UPDATE:
Found the solution. Close Outlook, open Control Panel, select Mail(32-bit), Select E-mail Accounts, select account to be deleted & delete.

Syncing outlook 2003 and outlook 2007 to a common device

The devcice synced correctly with outlook 2007 and also correctly with outlook 2003, but when I make changes to entries in outlook 2003 or outlook 2007, the device syncs, but does not update the outlook 2007 pc

 

WMDC sync host has stopped working (on DISCONNECT)

Looks like Outlook 2007 was the culprit.



I uninstalled Office 2007 and the problem was resolved. reinstalled Office 2007 and problem returned. Uninstalled Outlook 2007 and problem resolved.



Guess I have to decide if I want to live with the error and Outlook 2007 or just go back to using Groupwise.
