    Question...can Outlook 2016 feed my calendar appointment reminders/notifications to the Action Center or does it need to come from the native Win 10 Calendar? My theory is that it does not push from Outlook but nobody has been able to confirm this.


    I am not able to get calendar notifications for meetings to show up in the Action Center. I can get other apps notifications to show and even emails but not my calendar notifications.

    I have been on with Outlook support all day and they could not fix this, nor could my companies IT department. The pop up reminder still works in Outlook but not in the Action Center. Notifications are all turned on in Settings.

    Action Center not showing mail or calendar notifications

    I have the windows 10 calendar and email apps setup but they do not show any notifications in the action center. I have the email accounts set to show notifications in the action center but when I go to the setting page from action center to select which
    apps show notifications in the action center, email and calendar are not listed? any one else have this problem or know how to fix it?

    No Notification of new Outlook 2016 mail in Action Center


    I have selected the option to receive notifications of new email from Outlook 2016 in Windows 10 settings, but am not receiving them in the Action Center. Are there any other settings that need to be changed or possibly any registry keys that need to be added? Thanks.

    I have noticed the same, I believe you are right in saying that it hasn't been implemented in Office. Should be doable.

    Another thing is that, generally speaking, Action Center notifications do not work very well. For instance me mentioning you here @tjsuominen, you might get a notification but if you do, it most probably does not show Ten Forums logo. Instead, you will see a generic placeholder icon:

    Outlook mail notifications have no logic. The screenshot above shows two last Outlook notifications I've got. Checking Outlook, over 20 messages had arrived to same inbox between those two that gave a notification. PC is constantly on and online, Outlook running all the time.

    Same unreliability with Skype app. It should also show notifications, but sometimes when I am wondering why it has been so quiet for days and open Skype, I see there are quite a few unread, recent messages from my contacts.

    What in my opinion is remarkable is that it seems to be mostly Microsoft products and applications which have issues in showing notifications. Most third party applications show them just fine, as they should.

    As it is, I nowadays mostly ignore notifications because I cannot trust that I get them all.
