Windows 10: Outlook Contacts

When I'm creating a new email with Outlook I get two issues. Firstly, when typing an email addresses I get default addresses based on what I type, but they are NOT coming from my Outlook contacts list, I have no idea where they are coming from. It's really annoying because there are some I'd like to delete and others I need to change but I can't find them. Secondly, when I add a new contact to my Outlook contact list then start addressing an email to that contact the email address I have entered in the contact details does not appear as an option.In other words Outlook provides a contact li

I'm sitting here in the office, its the end of the year in the school system, and several employees transferring to alternative counties. With this it brings loads of transferring contacts to take with them from their company phone. Well, this one in particular sparked a guide idea. So here it is, How to transfer Outlook contacts to your Gmail account.


Step 1: Sign in to your outlook account.
step 2 In the top left hand corner click File > Import/Export > Export to file > Browse to desired place to save your file > export. Be sure you export the file as .csv (comma separated values)
Step 3 Log into your Gmail account
Step 4 Select 'Contacts' In the subsection you will see a 'Import' button on the right-hand side. Click it.
Step 5 Browse to the location where you saved it > Open it > Click Import.



I would have provided pictures, but I use neither Outlook or Gmail. Hope someone somewhere gets some use from this. *Toast :toast:

No. Also I followed the steps on Manage suggested recipients in the To, Cc, and Bcc boxes with Auto-Complete

cleared this list (Empty Auto-Complete List.)
disabled the option ("Use Autocomplete list..") and again cleared the list
relaunched Outlook in between
still those very old email addresses show up.

I give up.
