Windows 10: Outlook for Windows 11

I recently moved from Windows 11 Mail. It wasn't really my own choice. I accidently downloaded it when the 'Try Outlook" slider got moved in Mail for Windows 11. Curious, I allowed it to install. For a number of reasons, I DID NOT LIKE IT, primarily because of things that did not work and because of some things it did not have. So I uninstalled it. But a week later, it reinstalled itself without my consent, and then uninstalled Windows Mail for Windows 11 also without my consent. So I guess I'm stuck with Outlook for Windows 11 whether I like it or not in this case ... NOT. Here are my q

This is an awkward problem to solve and one I don't think is worth the time and effort.

The OP would be better off either using a modern webmail service like gmail or outlook.com or using a modern email client like Windows Live Mail like FX-GMC suggested or Thunderbird from Mozilla. If nothing else, Outlook Distress was notorious for corrupting its data files and losing all your email in one easy step. Not worth it.

This was going to be my suggestion as well. I just wasn't sure if it worked with XP. It is definitely way better than Outlook Express, and I actually prefer it to regular Outlook as well.

No. Also I followed the steps on Manage suggested recipients in the To, Cc, and Bcc boxes with Auto-Complete

cleared this list (Empty Auto-Complete List.)
disabled the option ("Use Autocomplete list..") and again cleared the list
relaunched Outlook in between
still those very old email addresses show up.

I give up.
