Windows 10: Outlook issue after update: Opening a word document from outlook gives this error - there...

Hello, Since we updated to windows 23H2 windows 11 we have an error when opening word documents directly from Outlook. We have done everything possible to resolve but to no avail. This only happens on laptops with 8GB RAM and updated to 23H2.What has been done:Completed all latest windows updatesCleaned temp folderrenamed normal.dotm fileScanned and fixed windows registryRan office online repairRe-installed office appsRan CcleanerRan SFC scanRAN AV scanChecked office trust centre settings - nothing out of the ordinary.Checked for any apps using to much RAMChecked virtual memory OKRemoved unn

If you use a version of Outlook prior to v. 2007, there's a checkbox in one of the preferences tabs which controls this. You can choose Word or Outlook Editor.

V. 2007 no longer includes Outlook Editor, though. It has it's own 'light' verson of Word 2007 built in.

Yes it does. *Smile Outlook uses word for message composition.

I have asked about this problem just about everywhere. well what is happening is when we open a new message in outlook it opens what looks like the shell of word that takes up a entire monitor ( it’s a four monitor system ). You cannot close the "shell" but if you close the message it will close.
Winword.exe is not running in the processes but word shows up in the application tab
It is the office 2k7 suite
If anybody has seen anything like this any help would be greatly appreciated
Also if you need to know anything else about the system please let me know.
