    outlook mail account icons on taskbar and start menu not responding to mouse.


    Another Windows update, another problem! All icons on this PC open immediately when pressed, except Outlook Mail. Since the latest monthly Windows update a few other icons stopped also but were easily replaced from the start menu. Doesn't work with Outlook. What is wrong and how can it be fixed? All suggestions appreciated, please. Desktop - Windows 10 - v. 21H1 - Edge 98.0.1108.50 - 64bit

    Delete mails in Outlook but want to keep mails untouch in webmail

    When I deleted an email in outlook and my webmail got deleted too. I want to keep all the inbox mails from the webmail even I complete deleted in outlook. I spend hrs can't think it out how. Any step by step instruction? I'm using IMAP account btw. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

    Mouse pointer hides under Start Menu.

    • Does the mouse respond when you click on the Start icon? Yes.
    • Does the issue persist when you hover your mouse over Start menu tiles?
      You cannot see the mouse over the Start Menu tiles. It show up behind the tiles like a shadow.
    • Do you face similar issue when you hover your mouse on other icons?No.
    I will try your suggestions and report back.

    Hi, one test and resolution that is suggested for this quite common situation is exactly what you have done- create another user account.

    Since you have just installed Win 10, frankly the easiest option would be to delete the original user, if there's no reason why not.
