Windows 10: Outlook no longer works after 24H2 update!

After the 24H2 update today Outlook Classic no longer works. I can launch it but cannot send or receive any emails. **** Microsoft?????????????????????

UPDATE FAIL, need ideas: Jan. 30 update, outlook inbox no longer working

Jan. 30 forced update has caused inbox issue

My laptop

• Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit, Version 1709, OS Build 16299.192
• Office 2013 - use outlook (imap) on my laptop

Other details

• We do not have an exchange server, we use rackspace webmail
• As of the update Jan. 30, I no longer receive email in my outlook inbox
• New messages do hit webmail and my mobile devices
• Checked account settings in outlook and all are correct; "test" the settings and it says everything is fine. The "test" email hits webmail and my mobile devices, but does not come into my outlook inbox

Work computer, needless to say, this is slowing me down. Looking for a fix, or a work-around until a new update comes through.

No. Also I followed the steps on Manage suggested recipients in the To, Cc, and Bcc boxes with Auto-Complete

cleared this list (Empty Auto-Complete List.)
disabled the option ("Use Autocomplete list..") and again cleared the list
relaunched Outlook in between
still those very old email addresses show up.

I give up.
