Windows 10: Outlook Search not showing recent emails after Windows update KB5008212

Outlook Search not showing recent emails after Windows update KB5008212. We are suffering and the turnaround resolution works for 2 days and ten again the search stops. Can Microsoft confirm when are we going to get the patch/resolution to this issue of Recent Mail not getting searched. When we raised the ticket to Microsoft Support team under case id # 29034890 , we are being replied that due to resource crunch the resolution to this issue is getting delay. Please help us with resolution ASAP.

This is an awkward problem to solve and one I don't think is worth the time and effort.

The OP would be better off either using a modern webmail service like gmail or outlook.com or using a modern email client like Windows Live Mail like FX-GMC suggested or Thunderbird from Mozilla. If nothing else, Outlook Distress was notorious for corrupting its data files and losing all your email in one easy step. Not worth it.

No. Also I followed the steps on Manage suggested recipients in the To, Cc, and Bcc boxes with Auto-Complete

cleared this list (Empty Auto-Complete List.)
disabled the option ("Use Autocomplete list..") and again cleared the list
relaunched Outlook in between
still those very old email addresses show up.

I give up.
