    Although this hdd is not activated I notice that ALL the spam in Outllook is being transferred to the new drive. I thought a fresh install got rid of all the trash. Is there a way to stop spam from installing on a fresh drive?

    Which version of Outlook are you referring to? There are several variants of Outlook:

    Outlook included with Microsoft Office ie. Outlook 2016, Outlook 2013, Outlook 2010

    Outlook Mail application bundled with Windows 10

    Outlook.com web mail service

    What happens when you try to use Outlook, do you get an error message?
