Windows 10: Over 24 hrs and only 24% of win 11 installed

Discus and support Over 24 hrs and only 24% of win 11 installed in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I've read that the install for win 11 can take some time.     I've read that the install for win 11 can take some time. Should I still be installing 24 hours later and only at 24%?

    chkdsk running for more than 24 hrs.

    My laptop was crashed after recent windows 2004 update. I have to reset it to Win 8 and then upgraded it to Win 10. It was running good for 3-4 times untill things started to turn bad. My laptop was running super slow, couldn't open any program, task manager
    etc. sfc /scannow returned nothing. chkdsk /f /r /x command (on restart) is running for more than 24 hrs. and is still at 8%. Though the number are increasing but its almost negligible. Stuck at 8 % (numbers changing) for approx 12 hrs and ETA 144 hrs.

    What should I do? Can I simply hard shut down it? Seems my hybrid HDD is failing.

    change time display from 12 hr clock to 24 hr clock?

    I am retired military and more appreciate the 24 hr format for time than 12 hr.. I am unable to find a toggle to do that???

    So that leave with a question..where is the time display format at..Many thx in advance.

    Tried to load Win 10 and it stopped at 97%. What can i do next. It has been over 24 hrs now.
