Windows 10: Over 250 proccesors, and half my ram being used, only opera open with 2 tabs, what's going...

My Laptop: 1 month old, Dell g15, 16 gigs ram, i7, and some RTX thing, I am not sure if my useful ram is supposed to be used for 250 processors, but its annoying that 8 gigs of it is being used for some reason, is there something i can do, i have turned of all the start up app. As soon as a restart, 3 or 4 gigs of ram is being used and 100 processors with i think is fine, then it keeps going up to something like 280 processors and 8 gigs, i check task manager processor area and there is a bunch of stuff running that I don't know but seems important and some I don't think so like "Search" or "N

Most likely Windows has set aside half your RAM as spare memory for your video card, this is normal and should your applications require more RAM, then Windows would dynamically free that RAM up fro use by those applications . . .

Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc)

Choose the Performance Tab and click Memory on the left

Please provide a screenshot of that resulting window

Open Device manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

Expand the Display Adapters section

What Video device(s) do you see listed there?

 

Open new tab / window in S60 browsers. 2 techniques

On my 5800 UK v5.0.005



1) Open web browser... brings up list of book marks

2) Options -> Go to -> New web page

3) enter www.newtab.co.uk, then press Go to

4) Press arrow icon in bottom-right

5) Options -> Subscribe to web feed

6) Select "New Tab"



That's the set up.. Now to use it



1) Open google.com

2) Select Options -> Go to -> Web feeds

3) Select "New tab" from the feeds list

4) Select "Open new tab" from list

5) Select "Open new tab" from top of web page

Now there are two windows



Try deleting the feed from your phone, then following those steps.. let me know how you get on

 

Why does win10 use one half of the available RAM?

I do not see anything that is wrong with your system, from that Processes tab, the top 4 items listed are using 3GB of your RAM, WIndows itself will use approx. 2GB and that only leaves approx 2 GB of RAM from the 7.2GB that the other tab reports is in use
and that could easily be accounted for by the other applications and processes open on your PC . . .
