  1. Over saturated display since recent Windows 10 update

    Hi,

Since installing the most recent Windows 10 update my laptop's Surface Laptop 3 display has been very oversaturated and the colours have been generally weaker. Based on what I've read that this could be an interference with my display adaptor's driver so I've tried uninstalling and/or updating my driver but neither of these work. The only remedy has been 'rolling back' the driver but this has removed the function allowing me to adjust the display brightness.

laptop is a Surface Laptop 3 and display adaptor is IntelR IrisR Plus Graphics

Is anyone else having this issue or does anyone has a solution?

    Thank you!

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

  4. Over saturated display since recent Windows 10 update

Recently used items does not show after a recent Windows update

I received an automatic update to Windows 10 on 4/3/2016. Now, Windows 10 will not display recently used items no matter what I do.

I took the following steps to correct the problem:

    1. Right click on desktop.

    2. Select Personalization.

    3. Select Start.

    4. Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on Start or the taskbar is already turned on, but items do not appear on Start or the taskbar.

    What is happening?

Also, Start no longer displays anything. There is no listing of applications.
