    Overcharging decreases battery life?

    Of course i am not confused with the topic

    in my life i've never heard overcharging battery will elongate battery life,

    Sticking to the point published by the first poster 'will overcharging decrease battery life?'

    Wonder if you can still say NO

    By saying 'will not charge battery more than enough' i meant 'will not overcharge' and is only repeatation of your post(sorry for my bad english)

    Please- last 2 lines of my first post; battery will not overcharge if there is no fualty in circuit.

    I am not specialist in such particular field but i know (already experienced) that overcharge and deep discharge will surely shorten life of a battery

    acoording to your subjet' overcharging decrease battery life?

    The answer is YES

    I am 100% sure that overcharging decrease any type of rechargeable battery life.

    But don't expect overcharging in present phones if your battery is charged within your phone and charger supplied with it unless circuit in your phone or charger has fualty.

    Overcharging may decrease battery life,but since new devices dont overcharge,there is no chance of decrease!

    And obviously you should have read the problem and not just the subject'overcharging decreases battery life'.
