Windows 10: Overheating and rapid discharge of battery with new laptop

i recently received a brand new laptop LT with win 11 preinstalled. the 1st day i spent updating the machine and then left it plugged in overnight after putting it to sleep by closing lid. This action was already set by default. The following morning after 8 hrs plugged in, i found the laptop VERY hot and certain area where the battery is located almost too hot to touch. I was obviously alarmed. I unplugged from mains and left to cool. the next day i plugged it into mains late afternoon and unplugged at 23:00 when battery was 100% and put the LT to sleep by closing the lid. The laptop was

Lumia 800, rapid discharge of the battery

My Lumia 800 has been a rapid discharge of the battery. When viewing the Battery Status of Nokia Diagnostics at this point the current consumption is about 250 mA. However, no background tasks has been started; Wi-Fi, BT, 3G has also been disabled. Cure the
switching off and on the smartphone. In normal mode, the current consumption is about 70 mA.



So, there are the questions: Can it be because of busy tasks that do not appear in the list of background tasks? Maybe some application not properly completed and continues to "load" my smartphone? How can I track this applications? What can i do in this case
(except for the on / off the smartphone)?



P.S. Lumia 800 I really like, but such situations are highly upset.

 

Nokia Lumia 800: periodic rapid battery discharge.

Hello!

On the phone, all (Location/WIFI/3G/XBox/
Camera) off except of GSM communications (calls/sms).
After playing games, there is a rapid
discharge of the battery. Of course, i'am quit from all the games.

With the diagnostics discharge rate at the incident
is about 140 mA, but usualy ~ 67 mA.

How to fix the problem?

Battery discharging

My laptop is plugged into a docking station but the battery is discharging instead of charging. Any suggestions? Wondering if my docking station is needing to be replaced.
