Windows 10: Overtype key

    Overtype key


    I used to use the Insert key as overtype key when I'd made a mistake, this doesn't work any more. I haven't found a key to use for overtyping, I have to delete the entire word and then retype the word I want.


    What can I do?

    how do you turn on overtype mode in notepad?

    Notepad doesn't support overtype. I'm pretty sure WordPad does, though.
