Windows 10: OW DO I CONTACT MICROSOFT TO CHANGE THE LINKED NUMBER TO MY PNONE NUMBER?

I cannot get into my laptop as it is asking for a PIN which i dont know. It is no longer asking for password which Ive done for years. It offers to send a message to the linked phone BUT this is a land line number therefore it cannot receive textsHOW DO I CONTACT MICROSOFT TO CHANGE THE LINKED NUMBER TO MY PNONE NUMBER?

A contact which is linked to multiple accounts or phone numbers, follows a order. For example, a contact which has four different phone numbers, one Email-ID and contacts from Skype and Facebook too, will show the information for that contact in the following
order:

• Mobile 1
• Mobile 2
• Home
• Work
• Email ID
• Skype ID
• Facebook ID

Now, as you have stated, for a contact which is connected to a mobile number, a Facebook ID and a Gmail ID, will obviously be pointing to it's first priority, which is the mobile number. That's why, the contact is now showing
the Nickname as the contact ID after linking all those accounts. If you want to change that Nick to Firstname-Surname combination, you must change the nickname connected to that mobile number (from your old SIM card), under that contact.

E51 - contacts not linked to caller's number

In other words, when the E51 rings only shows the number that is calling but the phone does not link the caller's number to my contacts book.

I couldn't find a solution in other posts and the only reference to any related contacts problem is that fact that it only shows the contact's name, but not from which phone the caller is calling.

Any suggestions?

Is that possible to add two mobile number to one contact?

• Go to a contact you want to add a number to or on a new contact you just need to repeat step two.
• Touch (+) Phone
• Enter number in the screen
• Select location
• Click check mark at the bottom of the screen
• Click the Disk Drive image at the bottom to save the change (this is an easy step to miss and probably where a lot of the confusion comes from)

This should complete the process
