    P2P Event Log error

    If you haven't already ... check trace sessions in performance monitor
    Performance Monitor > Data Collection Sets > Event Trace Sessions and/or Startup Event Trace Sessions ... See if P2P is still listed and enabled. If it is you can disable it by right clicking on it > Properties > Trace Session Tab > Uncheck Enable

    How does WUDO update work when the network firewall blocks P2P?

    I am a volunteer Wi-Fi administrator for an RV park with many long term residents. Our network firewall blocks P2P traffic.

    What happens when a user has the default P2P enabled for Windows Update Delivery Optimization?

    Does the update fail?

    Does the Delivery Optimization fall back to the traditional client-server model?

    Does anyone know which P2P protocol is used?
