    what is the fix for a padlock icon suddenly appearing on my windows 10 computer? First I thought it was just in Facebook, but even when I closed out of facebook, there it is, at my desktop level, flashing back and forth open closed open closed open closed. Black and white icon. Started a few minutes ago I think...9/26/2023 about 2:30 pm pacific time.

    Padlock Screen Suddenly Appeared

    I am sorry. Tried to screen print and wouldn't you know--the image of padlock did not print. Printed my screen directly after my sign in--no padlock transferred to copy there either. This is ticking me off--it shows on all search engines as well.

    It is a blue square with a white padlock about 1 1/2" (like what we used to use on our old school lockers,) and goes back and forth between locked and unlocked and usually is in the middle of the screen or typing area blocking vision.

    Out of the blue there is a padlock screen showing up on all my screens blocking view? I haven't changed anything--what's going on? Switched over from Windows7 to 10 couple of months ago.
