Windows 10: "Page not available - your IT admin has limited access" when trying to access areas such as...

I have a home computer. I am the sole user. I have an administrator account.Every now and then something annoying comes up such as not being able to remove read-only from a folder. The folder in this case is for a game so it breaks the game not being able to update the save file. The solution is easy but I don't have access to what I need to change which in this case is controlled folder access. Despite being the owner and sole user I have no option to bypass such messages as "page not available - your it administrator has limited access to some areas of this app". There is no helpdesk to ca

I can't use any security function with window defender ( ex. scan folder with window defender, scan drive )

and now I want to use the function " controlled folder access " but show Page not available IT Administrator limited access same.

I use private network and my notebook. There is no admin at all. Why IT Administrator limited access me ?

And my window notification to encryption drive. Is this related?

You need to set GPO settings to Not Configured, that could hide the sections of Windows Defender:

System blocking admin user from updating Controlled Folder Access

On a Windows 10 Home 64 bit PC, which I purchased directly from HP and which only I have access to, I wanted to turn on Controlled Folder Access and then customize the list of folders.

I logged into the Admin user, and went into Windows Security settings. When I clicked on Virus & Threat Protection (to get to the Controlled Folder Access settings), I got a popup entitled "Page Not Available". The popup text reads, "Your IT Administrator has limited access to some areas of this app, and the item you tried to access is not available. Contact IT helpdesk for more information."

Anyone have an idea what this means and how I can get around it?
