I received this message while trying to access the ransomware protection page to see if that was what was blocking me access to my backup folder in the MS SQL Server files.

This is a personal laptop that has no accounts but my own. Why is this appearing? My account is the administrator account and I was under the impression I should have full access to these files.

I can't use any security function with window defender ( ex. scan folder with window defender, scan drive )

and now I want to use the function " controlled folder access " but show Page not available IT Administrator limited access same.

I use private network and my notebook. There is no admin at all. Why IT Administrator limited access me ?

And my window notification to encryption drive. Is this related?

You need to set GPO settings to Not Configured, that could hide the sections of Windows Defender:

This may differ depending on the Windows 10 version you are running.

Press Windows Key + R type in gpedit.msc and press Enter or click OK.

When Group Policy Editor opens, navigate to the Computer Components > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Defender Security Center > Virus and threat protection in the left pane

In the right pane, double-click Hide the Virus and threat protection area.

Select Not Enabled from the list and click Apply and OK to save changes.
