    Page_fault_in_nonpaged_area what failed: Wdf01000.sys


    I have an issue with windows that occur when i changed something i can't revert back from in safe mode. also it causes issue in accessing safe mode without multi attempts. here is some image of issue.

    Wdf01000.sys is a Microsoft driver file. The wdf01000.sys
    process should not be deleted or prevented from loading each time Windows loads.

    We would like to know more about your wdf01000.sys and latency concern:

    • Were you getting errors with wdf01000.sys? If yes, Can you send us a screenshot?
    • Which program or application were you using in audio recording?
    • What equipment or devices were connected to your PC when you were recording audio?

    BSOD at boot up error is wdf01000.sys page_fault_in_nonpaged_area

    I had a virus on my pc then upon next boot up I come across a blue screen of death with the error page_fault_in_nonpaged_area caused by wdf01000.sys. It was letting me into safe mode but now it complains my pin is not set up so I can't even do that. I have tried to use the sfc /scannow command in safe mode. I have tried system restore points that didn't work. I have tried chkdsk, I have tried everything I can think of and Microsoft just tells me to wipe my hard drive which I REALLY don't want to do. What can I do to solve this? My windows version is 10 pro
