Windows 10: Page_fault_in_nonpaged_area

Currently suffering from some random timed BSOD after installing new motherboard/cpu/ram and upgrading to Windows 10 from 7. Originally upgraded, but had the same PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA BSOD, so I completely formatted my hard drive and installed a fresh copy of Windows 10 to see if it would help. Worked fine for a day or so, then got the same bsod earlier today. Doesn't seem to happen when I'm doing anything in specific, in fact, earlier today I was laying down trying to sleep and noticed it had BSOD.

Note



MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.
If errors show up and you see them a lot later, no problem, the errors don't affect the test.

Hey, thanks for the help. BIOS is set to default, and also flashed to current. I managed to get a lot of lovely red bars with memtest86+ not even finishing the first pass. Also tried switching the stick [I'm just using 1x16GB] into a different slot, still got errors.

You need to replace your memory in that case.
