    "Paged Failure in Non-Paged Area" After Windows Update


    So this all started yesterday morning. I went to Windows Update and it started updating and before I could see what happened my PC crashed with a "Paging failure in a non-paged area" and then the PC would not restart.I am completely lost here. The machine is a bit older. But it still runs really fast for what I need. I'm really not sure what to do next, but it really seems like something being updated in updated Windows is causing it to fail.Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Creator Update Paging in Non-Paged Area

    I did the Creator update for Windows 10 today, and since then I've been getting consistent BSOD crashes due to page fault in non-paged area, where I was getting no BSODs before. I'd like to fix the situation and not just do a rollback, but if that's the best step I'll go ahead and do that.

    Page_Fault_In A NON PAGED AREA

    I am building a new machine, every component is brand new. I have tried replacing the RAM and the Hard Drivebut keep getting the same message. I am using a legal copy of Windows 7 Professional that I bought and has worked previously on another computer using a different license. I get the blue screen and the message "Page_Fault_In A NON PAGED AREA" during the windows setup process somewhere between "expanding windows files" at 100% and "updating features"

    My Customer has spent a lot of his personal money on this machine and nothing I've done so far has been able to get it running. This is not the first machine I've built but this is the first time I've run into this problem.
    The components used are listed below

    Motherboard: ASUS P5G41T-M LX
    Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo
    HDD: Western Digital 500GB SATA
    RAM: Corsair XMS3 8GB

    I am using on board video and have a 300W power supply, no peripherals have been attatched and the OS is Windows 7 Professional 64bit.

    Any Suggestions?

    Almost every "Page Fault in a non paged area" I have ever come across is a ram problem, try the installation with just one stick in.
