    My pagefile.sys on an Acer Aspire E 15 (Acer E5-573) is 20 GB big. Could / should one resize it? If yes, how?

    swapfile.sys is only 16 MB big. Is it OK?

    Pagefile.sys

    My system performance has gone to pot after upgrading to WIN 10 Version 1511. When I attempted to re-install, I got insufficient memory warning. A bit of snooping around revealed that my pagefile.sys size currently is 68 GB. My sys disk is a SSD. What
    could be the reason for this ballooning of pagefile.sys? What is the best approach to deal with it?.

    What's the best size for the pagefile.sys gigantic virtual memory file?

    I have a Mac Pro with 2 processors intel Xeon E5645 @2.4Ghz 2.53Ghz with 40.0 GB memory ram with 1 SSD 1TB and I HD 2Tb I run windows 10 with bootcamp, and what the best size for pagefile.sys

    pagefile.sys: 20 GB - reduce?

    Turn off pagefile in system advanced settings, reboot and then set pagefile to auto.

    I had read that the computer is faster when the pagefile.sys size is set manually, that's why it was not set to automatic. I assume, it does not matter.
