Windows 10: Pagefile.sys high storage even though i dont use lots of memory

Discus and support Pagefile.sys high storage even though i dont use lots of memory in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; So i read things that pagefile.sys is used when something is using too much memory so it uses that.     Pagefile.sys high storage even though i dont use lots of memory


    So i read things that pagefile.sys is used when something is using too much memory so it uses that. Mine is set to defult and it made my pagefile.sys too 11.5Gb even though i dont use much memory. My computer has 16GB of memory and when im playing roblox only thing i rlly use my computer for it stays 50-60% and has gone to 70% a few times. Why is my pagefile.sys so high if im not even using that much memory and should i lower my pagefile,sys storage?

    Clear Pagefile on Shutdown


    I've been looking into clearing the pagefile, and I found the following steps at a somewhat dated webpage:
    1. In the registry editor, navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
    2. Set ClearPageFileAtShutdown to the REG_DWORD value of 1.
    3. Restart Windows.
    I'm just wondering whether those steps are still valid, and, if so, does clearing the pagefile work as advertised?

    hi my pagefile sys went up suddenly to 11 gb while was playing game and after like end match in game it went back to normal how it was before it maked first time i think is it normal

    How do I defrag my C: pagefile .sys my O&O Degrag Prof states that the files is 32G with a 97.71 degree of relative fragmentation?
