Windows 10: pages will only download to acrobat even if i check chrome as preference. used to work fine

I have been downloading documents to chrome. I switched over to the other setting and they come out in acrobat but NOW when I change the setting back to chrome it is still going to acrobat.Maybe someone here can take pity on me and help me.also chrome updated yesterday so i don't know if that might be a factor or coincidence.what i've described is happening now is brand new.

• Have you made any recent changes prior to this issue?
• Are you getting any error messages when you tried to download Google Chrome and Acrobat?
• Does this happen when you tried to download other application aside from Google Chrome and Acrobat?
• Which browser are you using when you tried to download application?
• Could you tell us what troubleshooting steps you've done so far?

Google works slow and can't download Adobe Acrobat Reader

In regards to your concern, please help me with the following questions:

1. What is the make and model of the computer?

2. Did you tried to download Adobe Acrobat Reader DC from different browser?



If Google chrome is running slow then it is could be possible that the web browser has gone corrupted.

You can try to uninstall Google Chrome from the computer and reinstall it.

Follow the steps:

1.
Type appwiz.cpl in Windows search bar and press
Enter.

2.
Search the Google chrome from the list and click on
uninstall.

3.
Do not click check the box for
clear browser data prompt.

4.
Open Internet explorer and download/install Google Chrome.

Multiple monitors cancels Acrobat page extraction when dragging page across multiple displays to drop to File Explorer (Windows 11) when this USED TO WORK JUST FINE.
