Windows 10: Paging file error

its been a very long time since everytime i open my computer a pop up appears saying "paging file error". I havent tried to do anything except watch a few videos on how to fix the issue and non of it has worked. Is something wrong with my system and is it obstructing the performance of my pc in any way ?? How do i fix this issue?

Page File

Set minimum and maximum to a constant number as suggested by others, that will help reduce fragmentation on the drive coz of different page file sizing.

 

Page loading error

Firefox can't find the file at jar:file:///C:/Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/chrome/en-US.jar!/locale/browser-region/region.propertieslogin.facebook.com.


I keep getting that type of error with fire fox, it doesnt happen only certain webpages, it's completely random. I also get a similar error with windows explorer.
I've tried reinstalling the wireless adapter driver, re installing fire fox, reseting the router ext.

Any suggestions or ideas of why this is happening?

 

page filing

With modern HDD's and systems it's not as big of a deal as it used to be, I would say at least have a 1GB pagefile if you have 4GB of ram. There are some programs and parts of windows that won't be too happy about no pagefile. I've ran without, with a small page file and with a larger page file, really not a huge diff with 4GB of RAM, but I got less errors in some programs when I had a page file.

Windows was designed to use it, I'd recommend leaving it active. *Toast :toast:
