Windows 10: Paid for Windows 10 Pro and now cannot activate windows

Purchased a brand new laptop with Windows 10 Home. Using my Microsoft account, logged in to Microsoft Store and purchased Windows 10 Pro. It ran an update process and seems to have linked my device to my Microsoft account.


However, it installed Windows Enterprise instead of Pro. It would not activate and asked for a key. I checked my email and I only have the receipt for the PRO purchase, no license key mentioned.


I check online under purchases, and it shows my purchase for Windows 10 pro, but no options to show the license key.


Eventually, I chose the option to reinstall my original laptop image from within the control panel, expecting to get back to a licenced Windows 10 Home. That process seemed to work in that it found the image on the laptop and did everything from scratch again.


However, at some point maybe when I used my Microsoft Account as a user, maybe earlier it ended up going to windows 10 enterprise again. As per the device manager settings showing on my account.


So I have no product key, even though I paid $209 for this, and I have no option to unlink this "pro" license from my device that I can see, and all the support articles I find suggest that Microsoft should supply a license key if I buy one.


On top of this, installing the Enterprise edition seems to have blown away my Bluetooth device so now I have no Bluetooth for my headphones and mouse.


Any ideas?

Windows 10 Activation (Insider)

I bought Windows 7 Pro OEM key from G2Play.net for 12€ to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro - worked like a charm but be advised if you buy a OEM key you can not download the Win 7 iso from microsoft and have to get it elsewhere.

 

Windows 10 pro

I need to change my motherboard, have windows 10 pro. When i google how to it says go to activation then add an account, my issue is there is no add an account option under activation? Or am I in the wrong window?



Not sure how to proceed, ive googled it and the same results. Do I have an OEM or? On the disk sleave it says OEI DVD?

How long did you wait for activation?
When I re-installed with a fresh install... it took a few hours to sync and activate.
However, it did, finally, activate.
