Windows 10: Paint 3d Leaving Small Circle Artifacts on Images in Pixel Art

Why does resizing my pixel art in Microsoft Paint result in a blurry image?

Resizing pixel art in Microsoft Paint or any similar software can often result in a blurry image because these programs use interpolation algorithms to adjust the image size. Interpolation works by averaging the colors of neighboring pixels, which can smooth out the edges of pixel art and create a blurred effect.To retain sharpness when resizing pixel art,Manual resizing,If you using Microsoft Paint, you can manually resize pixel art by selecting individual pixels and scaling them without using the resize tool. This method requires patience and precision, but it allows you to maintain the original pixelated look.

Why does resizing my pixel art in Microsoft Paint result in a blurry image?

Thank you very much for your response. I would however, like to make a suggestion: perhaps in a future update, Microsoft can add an option to the Paint app to disable the nearest-neighbor interpolation when resizing an image. That way, I can resize pixel art while retaining the original sharpness, without the need for strenuously resizing each individual pixel manually. Please pass this suggestion on to whomever it would need to go to. Thank you again.

 

Corrupted pixels in Paint 3D

Hello,

I've starting using Paint 3D to do some basic art, however, after saving and reopening a file, I noticed that some pixels are being "corrupted", changed to a similar color but not the same one.









In the pictures above, you can see in the top right corner that some pixels have changed color (top is before, bottom is after). After taking the first screenshot, I closed Paint 3D and immediately reopened the file, and took the second screenshot. Is there
a reason why this is happening?

ETA: The pixel changes are completely random, they will be in different places each time. Here is another screenshot:

After fixing and saving the file many times and reopening it, there will always be an area that is corrupted.
