Windows 10: Paint 3D (paintstudio.view.exe) keeps on running in the background on the dedicated...

OK, I will try to keep this short:


Issue(s):

• Paintstudio.view.exe keeps on running on my NVIDIA graphics card in the background as long as I start up my laptop (that's why it is annoying as it sucks your charge fast)
• Even if I end the process in the task manager, it will open up after a few moments.
• Even if I turn off the permission for Paint 3D to run in the background, it still run in the background!
• Even if I open up the NVIDIA control panel and set Paint 3D's default graphics card to Intergrated (Intel graphics), it STILL uses the dedicated (NVIDIA) card in the background (NOT when I am actually using the app)
• I checked the start-up apps (which would run as your computer opens up), Paint 3D wasn't in the menu
• I tried to reschedule the automatic updates in Task Scheduler, but I didn't find the options instructed in the other threads
• I don't want to turn off the automatic updates in Microsoft Store as that would apply to every app to stop updating automatically
• I don't want to unistall Paint 3D as I use it to create pixel images for Minecraft texture packs (I know that there are a lot of similar apps, but Paint 3D is the simplest to use)
• My laptop started to run out of charge really fast ever since the first time I started to use Paint 3D (atleast that's when I think there started to be battery issues...)
• MUCH MORE...

Some of the solutions I got from other threads, but NONE of them worked (some of then I didn't want to do...)

Paint 3D - where is the exe?

Hey,

Ï am wanting to use Paint 3D to edit pictures that have to be delivered from a particular program so I need to find the .exe to allow that program to interact with Paint 3D.

Where do I find the Paint 3D .exe file to link to?

Can't download Paint 3D

- What is the version and OS Build of your Windows 10?

- Where are you trying to download Paint 3D?

- Did you receive any error message when trying to download the app?

- Can you narrate the troubleshooting steps that you’ve done to address this issue?



If you are using Windows 10 version 1709, Paint 3D should be available by default. We recommend that you have run the wsreset.exe to clear and reset Windows Store cache and try to download the Paint 3D from the Windows Store. You can
follow the steps below:

• Open the Run box. Press and hold the Windows Key + R.

• Type WSReset.exe
• Click on Run as administrator
