Windows 10: Paint 3D Text Cutting Off

Hello.Someone in my company uses Paint 3D to edit some pictures, simply by adding text, however, 2 weeks ago they were asked to start using the pictures raw instead of compressed. They reported me that even if they can see how the text will be displayed, once they confirm the text placement, it gets cut off.After a bit of experimenting, I found that the text display area for any textbox is limited to the Paint 3D window size; a 500 x 500 px window will allow text as big as that, and so on.Maximizing the window doesn't help, since these are very large pictures ~5000 x ~5000 px and the display

Paint 3d cutting off text

Paint 3d is cutting off my text. I have read through tons of threads of people with the same issue and none of them have a fix. It is not a conflict with the text box and canvas size. I have reset paint 3d, I have uninstalled and reinstalled paint 3d and it hasn't fixed the issue. How do I fix this?

 

Paint 3D Text

Step 1: click the Text tab in Paint 3D

Step 2: On the right pane that appears, under 2d text, click the 3 text 'T' symbol

Step 3: click on the canvas then type your text

Step 4: click outside of the text box

Step 5: use the anchors to adjust the depth and angles

Step 6: to see your 3D text better, click the object then click Edit color, choose a different color.

• What is the Windows 10 version and Build installed? (Type winver in Windows search/Run command)
• What is the Paint 3D app version currently installed on the PC?
• What is the file type that you have selected to save the 3D model?
• Where are you inserting the Text and on which app are viewing the model?

Please provide us a screenshot of the issue for further investigation.
Follow the steps mentioned in the
screenshot posted by Shawn 'Cmdr' Keene on Oct 2, 2015 to post the screenshots.) Do not share any personal information in the screenshots.

Meanwhile, we would like you to reset the Paint 3D app and check if you have the same issue.

1. Press Windows + I key to launch Windows settings.
2. Click on Apps and select Apps & feature from the left pane.
3. Scroll down and select Paint 3D app on the right pane.
4. Click on Advanced option and then click on Reset.
5. Restart the PC and then launch the Paint 3D app.
