Windows 10: Paint center tab does not show

    Paint center tab does not show


    When I'm in Paint and need to bring up the center tab from the bottom or the right side, the little mark there where the center is, is not there.I have to continuously drag my cursor back and forth, back and forth, back and forth until that double arrow shows up, which tells me it's the center of the Paint frame, so I can move it.Questions--1. WHY did MS get rid of the center mark in Paint?2. How do I get it back? I'm sick and tired of having to waste time dragging my cursor/mouse back and forth until I find the center of the Paint screen!!

    Hi,

    I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

    • Right click on the picture.
    • Click on open with.
    • Select paint.
    • You will be able to see the picture in paint.

    Disable the "TAB" behavior on paint.

    Hi K-LysMontréal, I am Paulo. I'm an Independent Advisor and an individual like you inclined to help.

    Sorry to hear you're having an issue with Paint. Tab can't be used to make spaces when inserting text on either MS Paint or Paint 3D. Since it isn't intended to make paragraphs, tab spacing isn't demanded on this, at least that's what Microsoft made this for.
    You can only use your spacebar if you want to make spaces in text.

    Also, if you're pertaining to the old MS Paint, it will soon be removed but was just retained for now so we can no longer expect any fix or suggest additional changes.

    If you're referring to Paint 3D, you can always use the Feedback Hub app to post a suggestion.

    Paint center tab does not show

    Tab key doesn't 'tab' in MS Paint Text Box anymore - is there a fix?

    In the search box next to Start on the taskbar, type paint and then select Paint from the list of results.
    And you can select as where to add - it pin to start - pin to taskbar
