Windows 10: Paint not printing the same as image shown in preview

I'm tearing my hair out with this stupid Paint app!I have a scanned image which I am trying to print- it is a copy of my till which needs replacing, so I need it to be exactly the right size or the buttons won't match up. I have adjusted the paper size to A4 and reduced the margins to zero, and set scaling to adjust to 100% normal size, when I print preview it looks perfect but when I print the image comes out bigger and part of it is off the pagePlease help!

• When did the issue start?
• Were there any changes made on your computer before encountering the issue?
• What is the OS Build of your Windows 10? To know the build of your Windows 10, follow these steps:
  • Click the Windows logo (Start button).
  • Click the gear icon (Settings).
  • Select System.
  • On the left pane, choose About.
• What is the model of the printer that you're using?
• Does the issue occur on all of your images that you're attempting to print?
• Have you checked if the Print Preview window will appear if you will print the image using the
  Share tab in File Explorer? To print an image using the Share tab, follow these steps:
  • Access File Explorer.
  • Navigate to your picture files, and then highlight one file.
  • Click the Share tab at the top of File Explorer.
  • In the Send group, choose Print.
• What are the troubleshooting steps that you've done so far?

 

Cannot edit images when saved in Fresh paint

Hi Kamila,

As per the information, I understand that when you save an image drawn in Fresh Paint, you are unable to edit the image once saved.

If the above is true, I suggest that you follow the steps below to save the image in a manner that will allow you to edit it.

• To save your painting right click on fresh paint and click on
  Save as. You will get an option to select the location.
• Select the location and save the painting.
• When you reopen fresh paint you will be on the painting you used before closing fresh paint. If you do not get the painting, you may click on image and go to the location and select the image to edit.

Lack of Print / Print Preview Menu or Icon in IE

Hi Marcia,

If the Print/Print preview icon is not available in your IE toolbar, then there's a possibility that the Command bar is not enabled or not added yet. To add or enable it, please follow the steps below:

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. On an empty space right above the address bar, do a right-click, and select the
   Command bar option.

3. Once done, the Command bar will appear and it should contain the
Print/Print preview icon as shown in the screenshot below.
