Windows 10: Paint "save as" saves to the LAST folder I saved to, not the folder I just opened the image...

I see numerous references to this problem but have not found a fix. If I use mspaint.exe to edit an image and then "save as", the file will save to a different folder. Specifically, it will save to the last folder location I saved to in Paint, not the CURRENT folder where the current image resides. Every time I edit an image, I have to waste time browsing to the folder I am already working from. Windows 7 did not have this problem. Version 1909 18363.1016

Saving in Paint 3D to regular folders

Hi David,

In most cases, the option to save it to another folder is to export the edited image from
Paint 3D to a specific folder. It is grouped as project folders so you can open and edit it in the future.

We also suggest that you check the response of Jigar-Mehta MSFT on October 28, 2016 in this

thread. This will explain more about the saving option in Paint 3D.
