    Paintshop Pro 8 suddenly will not run


    PSP8 is a legacy version of PaintShop Pro, originally from JASC, now replaced by Corel versions. It's one of my most used apps and I've just spent two days trying to discover why it will no longer run. Tried all methods: taskbar icon, direct from C:\Program Files x86\Jasc Software Inc\Paint Shop Pro 8\Paint Shop Pro.exe, opening an associated image file. I bought Corel PaintShop Pro 2018 about six years ago, but I'm so comfortable with PSP8 and have written many scripts for it that I've never seriously used the newer version. Seeking a fix. I've studied many posts here and elsewhere. B

    Paintshop Pro 8 Since Windows 10 upgraded my psp8 wont run

    Since Windows upgraded windows 10 my Paintshop Pro 8 will not run. It asks for installation disc which I can not find. Is there any way round this problem?

    Problems getting PaintShop Pro 3X to work with Windows10

    I have been using PaintShop Photo Pro X3 for several years with no problems. I bought a new computer a few months ago with Windows8.1 and my PaintShop X3 turned out not compatible. When I got the free update for Windows10 my hopes were high. I reinstalled
    PaintShop X3 and it still wasn't compatible. The only PaintShop Pro I have found that works for me is an old copy of PaintShop Pro 8. Is there a fix for this ?
