Pairing Bluetooth Device with Computer - Ask for PIN, default PINs don'twork

I'm trying to pair JBL TUNE125TWS-LE wireless earbuds with my Windows 10 computer. They do not come with a PIN, and I've been able to pair them with my iPhone successfully. However, I've tried both pairing them through "Bluetooth & other devices" and "Devices and printers" - both ask for a PIN when I click on the device, and for both I've tried 0000, 1234, and 1111 multiple times with no success. I have also tried uninstalling and re-installing my bluetooth drivers, as well as running the troubleshooter for bluetooth, but I run into the same problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    :)

  2. Bluetooth PIN

    Hi James,

There are several factors that can contribute to the you're facing with pairing a Bluetooth device to your computer. This could be caused by a recent update or missing update components. For us to resolve your concern, kindly answer the questions below:

    • Have you tried to connect other Bluetooth devices to your computer and see if the same issue will occur?
    • The prompt asking you to enter the pin, what is the exact message?

As a initial recommendation, you can attempt use these default pins located below:

    • 0000
    • 1111
    • 1234

Take note that theses are the common default pins when there is none provided with your device or you do not have a way to check.

We look forward to your response to our queries.

Bluetooth Device Not Pairing: "Check the PIN and try connecting again." Not Able To Enter a PIN

"Check the PIN and try connecting again" is a standard Bluetooth message. Not all Bluetooth devices use a PIN.

The message really means "try pairing again, and if you're already paired, try connecting again."

If you need help with pairing and connecting, just ask. However, neither one involves Windows.

  4. Pairing Bluetooth Device with Computer - Ask for PIN, default PINs don'twork

Windows 10 not asking for Bluetooth PIN while pairing an Android device

    Good day,

I'm trying to pair my OnePlus 3 with the latest Android build available via Bluetooth to my Windows 10 device (latest build available too).

I correctly see the device from my PC and my Smartphone correctly see the PC, when I start pairing though, my smartphone correctly ask for confirmation, but after it they remain in "Connecting..." for a while, after which the pairing fails and the smartphone
reports "Incorrect passkey or PIN". The problem is that no passkey or PIN was asked by neither the laptop nor the smartphone.

I've tried reinstalling Bluetooth drivers on my laptop, rebooting the PC, rebooting the Bluetooth etc. I have no idea what to do and what seems to be the issue.

    Any help would be appreciated,

    thanks.
