    Trouble getting rid of Palikan

    See the following free multi-step removal guide from Malwaretips.com:

    After scanning with AdwCleaner, JRT and Malwarebytes Free, it may not be necessary to run Hitman Pro (Trial Version) as suggested in step 4 but you may need to reset your browsers (see step 5).

    Alternatively try the (free) Emsisoft Emergency Kit:

    Palikan Search and reimage

    I didn't realize what kind of malware Palikan was until it was too late and there It was on my computer. At first, I uninstalled Chrome but that didn't seem to work since it would come up on my computer every time I started my pc. I used your step by step
    instructions and it is now gone. Thank you so much for your help. It really worked.

    See this free, multi-step removal guide (which should als get rid of reimage):

    If need be, run multiple scans with each of the tools and also
    reboot after each scan.

    Note: You might not need Hitman Pro.
