Windows 10: Pan Zoom / Ken Burns / Crossfade Screensaver or Slideshow for 2000 Photos...

Hi!In our dental office we use Screens on the ceiling to distract patients during treatment. These Screens show JPGs of nature, architecture, etc. We have a dedicated PC running in the basement, which delivers the video signal via HDMI/LAN Bridges throughout the office,As our way of displaying the pictures looks rather old fashioned by now, I am looking for a new software, yet I can't find one:I am looking for a software, which can display 2000+ high-res JPGs randomly for about 20-30 seconds each with a smooth transition cross-fade. In a perfect world it would also feature a Ken-Burns pan a

No zoom/pan with Photos Screensaver

Hello!

I recently switched from OSX to Windows and I wanted to create a sceeensaver with my photos.

However when I chose "Photos" as the screen saver and select the folder containing my photos it simply displays the complete image, it doesn't zoom in, doesn't pan and there's no option for it either.

I searched around and found numerous mentions of a checkbox "pan/zoom" (or something alike) but for the life of me I can't find it!

Am I doing something wrong or am I missing a step?

I'm looking for a way to have my photos displayed similar to the Ken Burns effect on Mac OSX screen savers and others have reported that Windows can deliver that out of the box...

If it's not possible to do that with the built-in screensaver can anyone suggest an alternative?

Another issue: I'm using a calibrated screen but the screensaver seems to ignore the profile.

Windows 10 Slideshow disable pan & scan (Ken Burns effect)

Is there any way to disable the pan & scan (aka Ken Burns effect) in the Windows 10 slideshow? When photos are composed, it's very annoying to see them displayed off center or zoomed. I'd much prefer a simple full screen display without any change in aspect
ratio but there don't seem to be any controls to turn off the zooming.

Any ideas?

In my Pictures folder, I selected a group of Photos, and in the "Manage" tab, I selected Slideshow. The photos displayed normally (no pan and scan), nor do I see any control to change the display options. Same thing in the Windows 10 Photos app--no pan
and scan. In Windows Photo Gallery, which is not native to Windows 10, there is an option for "pan and zoom" in the slideshow category, but it's easily changed from the same place where a slideshow is started. I don't know what the problem might be with
your experience, but I'm not seeing it.
