Windows 10: Paragon BR gives NT specific error 0xc000009c

If I want to make an image with Paragon backup and recovery, backups stop after a while and I get the following error message:Operation Failed. VSS: Cannot Read volume data.Error Source: Paragon Backup & Recovery 16 Error Code: 0x100016If I make the backup via the startup USB stick, the same happens and then I get the error message:Operation Failed. NT Specific Error 0xC000009C:Status_Device_Data_RrorError Code 0xC000009CI have tried following, without success:- I have set the service Shadow Copy Volume to automatically- Checked on files greater than 4GB: None- Disk optimization All disc

Paragon Backup and Recovery complains about "VSS specific error"

Had exactly the same errors on three laptops. Not confident with Paragon any more so dumped it and gone for Macrium , which works OK for me.

 

0xc000009c error

Hi, I have a .exe error and its called WerFault.exe and it states

“The instruction at 0x0000000000007252C3B4 referenced memory at 0x000000007252c3b4. The required data was not placed into memory because of I/O error status 0xc000009c.”

I can keep working. Pressing ok doesnt change anything. It come back after a short while.

 

Paragon Driver for Windows

I have the same issue. WIn10 sees the drive in device manager and in devices and printers but still cannot read and write to my Seagate backup +. for Mac Went through steps as suggested by Microsoft and it returns that I have latest driver.

I have contacted support for both Paragon and Seagate. Let's see what the reply will be Tuesday after Labor Day.
