Parental consent question if I remove it can I reinstate it later?

I want to move from one family account a kid account to another one. Microsoft only allows me to remove from the family account if I remove parental consent. Ok, I can do that, but after that, can I reinstate the parental consent? If yes, how can I do it?

    :)

  2. What does removing the consent of a child mean?

    Hi T{}NN,

Thank you for posting your concern here in Microsoft Community. We understand you need help removing this restriction to access websites for your daughter. Let's go over with this together.

What does removing the consent of a child mean? Please refer to this link for complete details

Parental consent and Microsoft child accounts

We have a gist of this issue yet we like to ask some important information to make sure we are on the same page.

    • Are you referring to a Microsoft account or Xbox?
    • What Windows license are you using? ex. Windows 10 Home, Pro, Enterprise
If you are referring to the General access, try following:

When you're using Windows on your computer or device, you can remove an account from a family group. The account will still exist, but it won't have the benefits or family settings it had when it was in the family group. There are different ways to remove members, based on whether they needed parental consent to join your family group.

    • You can remove anyone that didn't need parental consent to join your family group. This includes organizers, members above statutory age, or member accounts in countries without parental consent requirements. To remove members without parental consent:

      1. Go to family.microsoft.com.

      2. Sign in with your Microsoft account.

      3. On your family's page under the member's name, select More options > Remove from family group, and confirm.
    • You can also remove a member below statutory age from your family group, although you must have an organizer account and be the one who gave consent. To remove members with parental consent:

      1. Go to family.microsoft.com.

      2. Sign in with your Microsoft account, then, to remove a member, scroll down and select Manage my child's profile info, find their name, select Remove consent for this child's account, and confirm.

      3. Go back to your family's page, and under the member's name, select More options > Remove from family group, and confirm.
We hope this help! We look forward for your response.

    Sincerely,

    Microsoft Community

  3. How to confirm parental consent

Hi! I received an email from what looks to be Microsoft Family Safety that says I need to log into my account to provide parental consent for one of my kids. Since you can never be too safe these days with unsolicited emails, I logged into my Microsoft account on my own, not through the link in the email, but I see nothing in my account or family account asking for parental consent. The email says my child's account will be suspended, and then permanently deleted if I don't confirm consent in the next 2 months. If this is real, where do I confirm parental consent?

  4. Parental consent question if I remove it can I reinstate it later?

Edit the parent consent email in my child's microsoft account

Hello. The parent consent email in my child's Microsoft account is spelled incorrectly (ie *** Email address is removed for privacy *** - 2 "L"'s). When they need consent to purchase or install something, the request goes nowhere. Short of deleting their entire account is there any way to fix this? Bonus question: wouldn't this be a reaaaaallllly obvious easy thing for a parent to fix in Microsoft Family? You would thinks so.
