    At first, the problem was that the network and volume bar did not respond to left mouse clicks. Right-click was still available, but I could not open any of the options offered by the right-click. Later, I by some chance opened my NVIDIA game bar. However, it got stuck, and later, a did not respond window popped out. I closed the game bar, realizing that whenever I move my mouse to approximately the rightmost 1/4 of the screen the monitor still displays properly, the mouse navigator becomes the blue circle that is usually present when an app does not respond, even when the navigator lies

    I would suggest you run the hardware troubleshooter using the keyboard and see if it helps:

    Please follow the steps below:

    • Type “Troubleshooting” on the Windows Search bar and hit enter.
    • On the left side of the Troubleshooting window, use the Tab key and Navigation keys (left, right, up and down) to click on “View all”
    • Again use the Tab key and Navigation keys (left, right, up and down) to click on Hardware. Please provide a password if asked for it and click Enter.
    Follow on screen instructions.

    Computer doesn't respond to mouse clicks

    For us to isolate the issue in using the mouse to interact with the contents of your desktop, kindly respond to the questions below:

    • When did this issue started to occur?
    • Have you checked if the mouse works when you connect it to another device?
    On a lighter note, we suggest that you check if there are pending updates waiting to be installed on your device. If there are, kindly install them and restart your device. After restarting, check if you are able to interact with the contents of your desktop.
