  2. Multiple Partitions or 2 partitions of Hard Disk

For now I have created total 2 partitions of my hard drive. The first one with windows installation and another one for my data. Lets see how it works out.

It's a matter of opinion. I'll give you my opinion, but read what other people have to say, then make your own decision.

I keep Windows and all my installed software in the C: drive (also known as the
system drive or system partition because it contains the operating systempartitions ;) my data - documents, music, pictures, videos and a few other things are in the E: drive.

I do this primarily for backup purposes, so I can backup my software and data independently. Here's one example where that makes sense: Let's suppose something goes badly with my copy of Windows, which
frequently occasionally sometimes happens to me. If I restore a backup, and everything is on one partition, then my data is also restored to an earlier time. Not good. If my data is on a separate partition, restoring my software doesn't
    affect my data.

I can also use different software products for backup. I use disk imaging (Macrium Reflect) for my software and a simple compression program (7-zip) for my data. Since the .zip format is ubiquitous, I can restore my data to just about any computer, if need
    be.

It also makes installing a new operating system much easier. Since my data is on a separate partition, I can do a clean install on my system partition with no fear of anything happening to my data.

All the above is even more convenient (to me) because I also store my Outlook PST, my desktop folder and my downloads folder on the data partition, along with other stuff like a backup of my router configuration.

You should maintain backup copies in more than one place. If you keep everything on internal disk drives, then if your computer gets damaged or stolen, you've lost everything. But if you store backups on external storage or in 'the cloud' then you have extra
    copies of everything.

148GB and 352GB must be adjacent. Right click on 148GB ->Merge then select 352GB.

However, you can also do it with Windows Disk Management. Right click on 148GB -> Extend Volume.

If your unallocated space is to the right hand side you can just right click on the partition to it's left and extend it using disk management. If it isn't you'll have to shuffle them around.

It would be easier if you posted a picture of Disk Management.
