    i'm trying to log into my microsoft account, and even though i know the password is correct it always locks me out and says it's incorrect. i have reset my password atleast 10 times and even made a new account twice but it gives me the same thing: "Sign-in is blocked. You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect account or password." I have no idea what to do.

    The Password is Incorrect

    I have tried login in to my computer on Windows 10 but it shows password is incorrect. I have followed the steps indicated but it is still showing that the password is incorrect. Please advise.

    How do I get out of safe mode so I can reset my settings?

    1. Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
    2. Type msconfig and press Enter.
    3. In the window, click on Boot tab.
    4. uncheck Safe boot, click on Apply and Ok. Restart
    Not sure why it started in Safe mode. May have been out of sync with your phone from prev incorrect password. See if restart fixes. At least, you know what your universal MS password is. *Wink
