Windows 10: Password change for personal Microsoft acct won't work.

Every time I try to change my password for g********@gmail.com it seems to work, then when I go to login it tells me my password is incorrect. I've done this MULTIPLE times and at wits end. I noticed when I try to get a recovery code it is for an email I don't recognize. *** Email address is removed for privacy *** is the email and has NO association with me or anyone I know. I have a bad feeling this person has hacked my account. I can give you all of the passwords, etc. I tried the recovery option but it said it didn't have info info. I'm at a loss

MS Acct vs Local acct

I think you can take extra mesurments like two-step authentication, but as you said, using an MS Acct needs you to be more carefull than a local one.

 

2 computers same acct...please help

Hi, I have 2 computers in my home. Both computers have the the user name and password when logging in. Also when I go to my Microsoft acct. both are listed under devices. I would like to have it so both devices have there own log in. If I delete the other computer listed in my acct. would this solve the problem? Also, would I be able to log into the other computer since it was deleted and how would I then create a new username and password? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

M correct password is refused on sign in to my personal acct

We had a power outage 2 days ago and since then I cannot enter my personal acct. I reset my MS acct password and that is fine but I cannot access to all my docs , music, pics, vids, etc on my personal acct. My password is correct , I have confirmed the password
and tried all keyboard language options, from my . Thankfully (I think) I can see that my info is still there from my MS acct as MY Hard disk space shows 250+ megs used but I cant access , please help
