Windows 10: Password Disk forgotten Password Issue

On my Windows 10 PC's I can not remember my Password.


I tried to create a Password disk using my Windows 7 Laptop and it would not work on the Windows 10 PC.


Do I need to use another Windows 10 PC to create this Password Disk.


I have a Window's 10 Tablet. Will that work?

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???
